Then as I read on to your post, the Lord reminded me that He was unjustly treated so that my sins could be forgiven. As the Spirit continued to deal with me, I couldn't help but curse myself. What is my pain compared to what Christ went through for me? Have I never caused the heart of perfect Holiness such pain? And yet what came out of His throne? Love and mercy!! As I have obtained His mercy, how can I not be merciful to others?

I realize also that there is a whole world of broken, desperately wounded men, women and children out there. Yes, many of them may be rude, crude, obnoxious, and self-centered. They're lost and despairing. These are people who in no way deserve mercy.....but need mercy desperately. They are people who may not even understand they are unforgiven....but must find forgiveness or they will perish in their sins. They need God's mercy and forgiveness shown to them in the lives of authentic Christians.

Here is my question to you and your fellow believers. If the TRINITY or TRIUNE is not found in the Bible, and you people are PREACHING it all these time. Wouldn't that be + or - from the words of God? Or Are you all justifying by saying "IT IS A MYSTERY and to NOT need to know it at this time.

You see Glitter I'm not here to make PEACE to no ONE by fabricating the truths. TRUTH is truth no matter if I'm part of it or not. It is not what I PUT in to the TRUTH that make it true.

Joseph Smith said this: "Truth is knowledge of things as they are, and as they were, and as they are to come. Truth conforms to reality, is centered in God, and is enduring as God himself. Truth is absolute and eternal; it endureth forever. Truth never varies; what is true on one age is true every age. Truth never conflicts with truth."

Lopa, I've never condemned you to hell. Only God knows the true contents of your heart so He'll be the judge of that. About Joseph Smith, during one of our discussions, I learned that Mormons teach there was a falling away after the time of the Apostles and I disagreed. I didn't know they taught that at all. And I asked a few of my loved ones who are of the Mormon faith if they knew that and they didn't. Does the Mormon faith teach about a falling away after the Apostles or not?

So you don't believe in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit being of one essence with three different functions?...that's your prerogative. It is by faith that I believe in that truth. Just like I wasn't there to see Christ die and rise again but I believe it happened with all my heart. Just like you weren't there to see who Joseph Smith saw but you believe with all your heart it was God and Jesus. Is there a way we can agree to disagree on these things without the closeminded "you're wrong and I'm right" self-righteous attitude? Being a leader in your church, I'm sure you know how to dialogue peacefully in a civilized manner. It is all I ask, it is the only way to start anew, like what your topic asks for.

I believe that many people throughout the world hold your views and perception on the Catholic Church as the dying and remnant of the past. But in reality, since the Second Vatican Council, the Church has open herself up to the world. And they are the champion of human rights, the poor, the orphanages , the refugees, etc. Today, every major country send their ambassadors to Rome to dialogue with the Church in regards to social issue that concern the dignity of man. It is this same Church of today that stand up to the face of Communist and playing a major role in accommodating the fall of the U.S.S.R.

The voice of the Catholic Church speaks louder to the consciousness of the human family today then at any other time in her history. The Church continue to live up to her promise to Christ that she will take Him to the ends of the earth. She had been there through the ages, crowning almost all the famous kings of the world. The Church in the midst of her shortcoming was there in every era of the past 2000 year proclaiming the truth of Gods love. The Chruch was their to witness the coming into being of every government and Christian religion standing today, and there is no assurance that she will not be there to see their passing. The Church in the midst of her sinfulness continue to push forward, with a billion member, living up to her promise to Christ that she will take Him to every nation and every generation until they meet again.

The Catholic Church today continue to be a beacon of hope in Africa baptizing millions every year. In Eastern Europe her number continue to multiply. In Latin America and in Central America the Church is the voice of the people, with 90% of the population being Catholic. Her voice continue to spread throughout Asia and far out to Oceania. The voice of "Peter the Rock" continue to be the striving force for peace in the world so full of uncertainty. Today we can still read of the Pope meeting with the Leaders of every nation, including the President of the United State, to inform them of the Church view on issues concerning the human race. The Catholic Church as the U.S Ambassador once mentioned is "the listening post of the world, it is she the most powerful spirtitual force in the world." Yes, the Church may be view from outside as something of the past, but in fact, she will continue to meet every generation with vigor, until Christ comes again.

Thank you for your insight into the doctrine of the Catholic Church, especially of the doctrine of the Trinity. Every input is a learning process for all of us as we continue the path toward truth which is essentially Christ himself.

All I can do is to contribute what Catholics profess and believe, and would love to see some contribution from Makahunu and Alien on what exactly it is that they believe in.
